The Process
How we transformed an outdated PHP site into a modern, blazing-fast web experience without losing data integrity.
The Challenge
The original website, built on legacy YII2/PHP, suffered from high bounce rates due to slow load times and a non-responsive design. Managing content was cumbersome, and the SEO architecture was non-existent, causing poor organic discovery.
The Solution
We engineered a decoupled architecture. We retained the robust MySQL database and rebuilt the API layer using modernized PHP.
For the frontend, we introduced a Next.js (React) application styled with Tailwind CSS and Framer Motion. This allowed for server-side rendering (SSR) for SEO benefits while maintaining a dynamic, app-like feel for users.
The Results
